Major Reasons Whatsapp Bans Accounts

"I got banned? But I didn't even do anything!"

You just like a few others may have experienced limited banning for seemingly no reason. Whatsapp as we know it is more or less the most popular and accessible way of exchanging instant messages for free but just like every other app, user safety is not 100% guaranteed.
Whatsapp has begun banning users that violate specific policies and are very strict with the consequence and here are 3 major reasons one may get banned.

1. Use of Unofficial or Modded Whatsapp

Yes, as most of us android users are aware, the app in question is the modded whatsapp popularly known as GB Whatsapp although some use the other version known as FM whstsapp. That said, it is prohibited to a large degree, and Whatsapp recently cracked down on unapproved apps, warning users to transfer their data or risk having their accounts temporarily suspended.

2. Spamming Of Messages

The annoying and as some would put it, psychotic act of sending the same messages to contacts or groups will indeed lead to banning. Copying and pasting of the same message multiple times to random or specific groups is also not supported by WhatsApp and will likely not escape temporary or as the case may be, permanent suspension of one's account

3.  Illegitimate Activities

There will inevitably be criminals among its numerous users. Due to this, the app will permanently ban any accounts that have been implicated in questionable behavior.
