According to recent information that has reached us from a trustworthy source, the PlayStation 5 (PS5) Pro is currently being developed and is scheduled to be released in late 2024.
Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming provided this information in a piece that he wrote after describing what his sources had told him. The sources stated that the PS5 Pro is under development and that a late 2024 release date was being considered as a possible target. It's interesting how this differs from a PS5 upgrade that features a detachable disc drive that was previously mentioned.
There aren't many other details available for the PS5 Pro, which makes sense. But it's also possible that the performance of ray tracing has improved and been "accelerated". This is because Mark Cerny, the architect of the PlayStation, recently published a patent, which Gamingnews (@Onion00048) discovered.
We don't know anything else about the future PS5 Pro besides this. It will likely most likely perform better in terms of speed, graphics, and performance, but that is all it is: an estimate. More information will have to be delayed until it becomes available, either through official news or additional leaks from sources.
Mad I can't wait
