The Facebook Messenger will now be supporting playing of multiplayer video games simultaneously whilst video calling. You should also note that his feature is currently available on Messenger for iOS, Android, and Messenger Web. Here are the major things you should know ---
Based on information derived from a recent Facebook blog post, this amazing feature that let's users play multiplayer games during video calls will be brought in at least, 14 free-to-play mobile games. This will not only be available on Android and iOS but also on Messenger Web which means installation of the app would not be necessary to enjoy the gameplay.
Facebook further clarifies that games like Card Wars by Bombay Play, Exploding Kittens by Coatsink, Mini Golf FRVR by FRVR, and Words With Friends by Zynga can be played directly from the app. These games may support more than 2 players, but the majority supports just two people.
In order to access the game, users will be required to start a video call with their Facebook friend via Messenger, then will need to click on the group mode button in the center. After that, they can then tap on the 'Play' icon with access to browse through the games library and play whatever game they prefer.
